Lorraine Day is a solo jazz, swing and blues act and provides a tribute to the female swing era with a set of songs from the repertoire of Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, Nina Simone, Diana Krall to name a few. With a wide repertoire of old school classics as well as special arrangements of some rock songs in a swing style. Biography

Over the years Lorraine Day has performed with rock groups, blues groups and a four part vocal harmony group who were a Manhattan Transfer tribute act no less. She has a wide range of experience and performs as a soloist in venues across the North West.

Experience

Lorraine has been singing in the music industry since the age of nineteen. She released a cover of the famous song Street Life in the 1990’s which had some air play. My current set list includes a range of songs from 1950’s to the present day. With top quality backing tracks and PA.
