I am a vocalist from Northern Ireland, trained in both classical, folk and musical theatre styles. This allows me to then branch out into a number of different genres including pop, jazz, folk etc. I also play piano and guitar and am therefore happy to accompany myself.

Description

Hello, my name is Louise and I am a vocal performer from Northern Ireland based in London. My act offers a variety of styles including musical theatre, Irish folk and classical. Most recently I have performed at weddings, formal events and cabarets. I am also an accomplished pianist and guitarist and so can provide my own accompaniment Aswell as instrumental performance for occasions such as background music during wedding ceremonies, dinners and cocktail bars.

Biography

I obtained my undergrad in vocal performance at the University of Newcastle followed by my masters in musical theatre performance at Mountview Academy of Theatre and Arts.
Since graduating, performances have included:
Wedding ceremonies, Formal dinners, Cabarets and regular performances of session music within the Phoenix Theatre during their run of Come From Away.

During the evening Louise's voice stood out as being incredibly enchanting. There is a specific vocal quality singers native to Ireland have that I don't think can be replicated. A soft, melodic tone that was light and airy but also filled with soul and personality. Her voice filled the room with warmth and comfort. It was a fantastic evening of Irish music and everyone in attendance was thouroughly impressed and entertained. I look forward to hearing her perform again.

We asked Louise to sing at our wedding ceremony and we were not disappointed. She has an amazing voice and was very flexible when it came to song choice. We chose a favourite hymn of ours and she brought a tear to our eyes. I cannot recommend Louise Anderson more. She is a very experienced singer and lovely person all around. If you want something to make your day extra special, Louise is the person.
