Biography

Matt Walsh is an entertainer, entrepreneur, and creative visionary based in Orlando, FL, with over a decade of experience redefining live entertainment and studio production.
Matt’s artistic journey began at just 8 years old, when he demonstrated an extraordinary talent for drawing popular cartoon characters with extraordinary precision. As a child prodigy in animation, he brought original characters to life through 2D and CGI techniques, earning several awards and accolades for his groundbreaking work during middle school. But at 14, his creative path shifted in a way he never expected.

Despite having no rhythm, no dance experience, and knowing little about Michael Jackson beyond his passing, Matt begrudgingly gave in to overwhelming requests from his peers to perform “Billie Jean” at his 8th-grade dance. What began as a reluctant gesture to impress some classmates ignited something extraordinary. The crowd’s reaction was electric, and within two weeks, Matt found himself in the industry touring the state—and later the country—as a professional tribute artist.
In high school, Matt trained under one of the nation’s top-ranking dance programs, studying Jazz, Hip-Hop, Ballet, and Modern dance to meet the expectations his newfound path demanded. He later attended Stetson University, studying Theatre Arts with a focus on acting, directing, and stage design. At 19, Matt made the pivotal decision to leave Stetson to pursue a career in the music industry, fully dedicating himself to building and investing in his state-of-the-art recording and production studio—determined to always have the right tool for the job.
From 2019 to 2022, Matt worked extensively in the industry as:
• Executive producer and mixing engineer for multiple music projects.
• Director of music videos and corporate videos for businesses.
• Session vocalist and background vocalist for various music and radio projects.
• Producer of radio voiceover productions.
In 2024, Matt relaunched his flagship Michael Jackson Tribute Show, touring nationwide as part of its 10th-anniversary tour, celebrating a decade since his professional career in live entertainment began. Known for its breathtaking precision and world-class production, the show has headlined high-profile events and captivated audiences across the country.
