Biography

I am a very versatile pianist / keyboardist. I have a lot of experience despite my age and can play a wide range of styles / genres. I achieved my Grade 8 Piano at 17 and my ARSM Performance Diploma at 18. I love performing as a soloist, part of a group, or as an accompanist.
My most recent work has been taking the role of AMD and Keys 1 for the musicals Grease, Jesus Christ Superstar and The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals. Musical Theatre is absolutely my passion and I'm sure I'll be continuously adding to this list.
I have previously worked as the resident pianist at Hardwick Hall Hotel, ... a 4-star luxury Hotel in County Durham. I played a wide variety of styles and take requests. I am very sociable and love interacting with people. My sight-reading is one of my best skills and this really helps when taking ad hoc requests! I am also currently the pianist at Lumley Castle for their Elizabethan Banquets.
I have experience performing as the pianist as part of a pit band, symphony orchestra, jazz band, ceilidh band, accompanist for singers / instrumentalists and arranging small ensembles. I have been booked as a soloist for charity events and large private parties, as well as part of an 8-piece live band for a big charity ball. I was also the rehearsal pianist for a production of The Addams Family.
