I have nearly 40 years of stage experience, having started as a child prodigy of classical piano, lately I have been working almost exclusively with Hapag-Llloyd Cruises and TUI Cruises as guest artist, incl. concerts onboard MS Europa and MS Europa 2. I have also provided complete programs for music cruises onboard expedition cruise ships Hanseatic Spirit and Hanseatic Nature, acting both as the main stage act and the producer, inviting i ... nternational stars and young talents from my personal network for unique collaborations at high sea.
I am looking for new exciting opportunities and very much hope that I can be a good fit for Your excellent agency! I work both Solo and in Duo with my wife, DJ Smola, which means that the cruise ship companies can enjoy having 2 excellent musicians covering a huge variety of genres between them in one guest cabin - and that, in my experience, can prove to be of essential importance. I am, however, even more interested in engagements on land, be that private parties, corporate events or any other occasion. I am a German passport holder and as such can travel around without any limitations.

Michael Ognianer was born in Moscow. His talent was discovered in the early years – already as a 5-year-old he presented his first composition to the Moscow audience; at 7 he gave solo recitals all over Russia, at 11 he gave concerts in EU and USA. In 1997 the young pianist moved to Munich, Germany, where he graduated from the Munich Music University and started his career as classical pianist, jazzmen, improvisator, composer and producer.
Mic ... hael is just as much at home on a classical concert stage as he is at the piano of a jazz bar or at the keyboard of an electronic music studio. As a passionate world citizen and traveller, he looks for inspiration from natural wonders all over the world and mirrors it in his compositions, be it a solo piano improvised meditation or a complex and ambitious orchestra piece.
