Najet Ounis is a singer/songwriter from Tunisia. Starting out doing gigs in clubs to support her Graphic Design studies, Najet's music career took an unexpected turn. The media began to notice her covers, leading her to a deal with Universal Music France.
While under the label, Najet faced artistic restrictions and an urge to express her creative ideas. The pandemic allowed her to explore her songwriting skills and meet her authentic self.
The label showed no interest in releasing her original songs and wanted to maintain a manufactured image. Frustrated, Najet broke the contract. Facing ... financial challenges, she returned to her day job and took a break from music.
