When Vasili kindly agreed to perform at our wine tasting evening at short notice, I couldn’t have imagined just how special the evening would become. From the moment he agreed to help, he put my mind at ease. Organising events can be stressful, but I knew we were in safe hands. He arrived immaculately dressed and worked brilliantly alongside our sommelier, bringing warmth, humour and genuine charm. Before each performance, he explained a little about opera and the stories behind the music, making it engaging even for those experiencing opera for the first time. Then he sang. The room fell silent. It was simply breathtaking. His voice and the emotion he brought to every piece gave us goosebumps. You could see the effect it had on everyone in the room. Every single person commented afterwards on how much they had loved it. It transformed the evening into something truly magical. I cannot recommend Vasili highly enough. He is an exceptional performer and an absolute gentleman.
