I am committed to my students to get the most out of their instrument, serving students in the Chicago area by not just meeting their expectations, but exceeding them and enjoying it while we learn.
Are you interested getting the most out of your instrument? I supply the knowledge necessary to advance your skills so you may be able to play and enjoy what music has to offer. I am committed to providing quality instruction in a friendly and professional manner.
You will learn at your pace. I will help identify your strengths and provide an individual lesson plan to help develop your skills. I understand how important it is to feel confident in my ability to teach. I have dedicated the time and energy necessary to be well prepared for your personal lesson.
I studied music performance for the saxophone and flute as well as piano in collage for five years and then became a student of the local jazz artist, Joe Daily here in Chicago. I have been playing professionally throughout the past 35 years. I have a passion for music that was passed on to me at a young age. As the music director of a local church in Berwyn, IL. Every day I continue to hone my skills by practicing and performing.
Once you have mastered the basics, you will have a skill that you will enjoy the rest of your life.
