In 2022, I became a full time singer, having sung professionally since a young age. It has been the best decision I have ever made.
It would be an absolute Pleasure for me to come and perform for you and meet new residents and staff.
A bit about myself:
I've been singing in care homes, nursing homes, and independent living accommodation for years (part-time). This started because of my late mother, Janet Taylor. She was a care worker for as long as I can remember and devoted her life to caring for people. Unfortunately, she passed away in 2015 at 54 from cervical cancer.
Making residents smile like my mother did gives me peace and happiness. So much so that I decided to make it my full-time job at the start of 2022.
I make people smile, just like my mother did, and it brings me peace and happiness. That's why I decided to turn it into a full-time job, well I cant call it a job because I enjoy every second with the lovely people I meet, so its not like working at all.
I love singing for people and hearing how happy they are when I do. It makes me proud that I can share my voice with them.
My set consists of golden songs from the 50s, 60s, and 70s. No "Roll Out The Barrel" or "Pack Up Your Troubles," I give a breath of fresh air with songs residents want to hear and sing along to, dance if possible or just enjoy the comfort of their own chair.
I understand concerns about volume issues some venues or residents may have, so I check this on the day to ensure everyone is happy with the level. I also set up two lights whose brightness can be adjusted - or not used at all if required.

I love interacting with lovely residents I sing for: my jolly persona and kind-hearted banter help people get to know me as we build a friendly relationship. Plus, there are no cancellation fees since unexpected issues happen in uncertain times—you're never tied down by bookings!
I have public liability insurance and all my equipment is PAT tested; plus, I'm fully vaccinated and up-to-date with booster jabs too!

I have sung with a band, Duet but mostly solo.
I have been offered to sing in Holiday destinations like Tenerife, Spain, Portugal & Scotland (Highlands) but I am a family man and my heart is right here in the West Midlands.
