Electric/double bassist. Newly retired from teaching (music teacher for 25 years). I have both a Bachelors and Masters degrees in music. I am a good sight reader, and have experience with orchestras, rock bands, jazz, pop, and have played and conducted many musicals.
Description
I currently play double bass in a rockabilly band, jazz quartet, Rock Valley College Orchestra, Rockford Wind Ensemble, and work as a freelance musician for hire. I started with electric bass many years ago and can play any style of music. I am looking for work as a bassist. I am willing to travel and/or relocate.
