Biography

I have been classically trained in singing until age 14, during this time I was selected to perform in Mozart's Magic Flute with the national opera firm(WNO). This is my only direct experience performing on stage with my voice. I returned to my voice two years ago and would like to try for a career with singing. Background information: I played the violin from age 8 and the guitar since age 16. I understand theory and can read music. currently singing/playing with an amateur project.

We will work together to improve your understanding of your instrument; the main focus usually being a more controlled and natural use of your voice. I will focus on any areas that you feel need work. I will also suggest other aspects if necessary, and most importantly will provide external feedback for you. I will be sensitive and kind always while discussing your voice- I don't agree with harsh/critical feedback. My teaching style is driven by discussion, curiosity and encouragement.
