Biography

Seda Balcı is a versatile pianist, composer, and music educator from Turkey, specializing in both classical and jazz piano. Her musical journey began at the age of seven, leading her to graduate from Çukurova University State Conservatory in 2011. Since then, she has built a diverse career as a performer and teacher, blending technical mastery with emotional expression.
Early in her career, Seda worked as a piano teacher in Antalya while performing in hotels, bars, and restaurants. She played with various bands across genres like jazz, funk, rock, pop, and Latin music. In 2016, she began ... her master’s degree in jazz piano at Yaşar University and founded the jazz-funk band Keep Rollin’, with whom she performed for five years. The band released an album titled So Far So Good and toured internationally, including performances in Kenya.
Following the pandemic, Seda continued performing as a solo lobby pianist in a five-star hotel for three years. There, she developed a rich repertoire of jazz standards, pop arrangements, and traditional folk songs from across Europe, adapting her style for an international audience.
She is also a co-creator of Noisev, an electronic music duo blending dance music with acoustic textures. Seda composed and produced much of the project’s material, including lyrics and harmonies, and performed at festivals and cultural events.
Beyond piano, Seda sings in four languages—Turkish, English, Spanish, and German—and enjoys playing the flute during live shows. She is fluent in English and conversational in Spanish and German. Her passion for musical exploration, collaboration, and cultural exchange makes her a dedicated and dynamic performer, eager to bring her artistry to international stages and cruise ship audiences around the world.
