Description

Steve Conway is a vintage-style solo vocalist specialising in classic swing, jazz, easy listening and feel-good favourites from the golden era of music.
Inspired by artists including Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin, Louis Prima, Louis Jordan, Nina Simone and Elvis Presley, Steve creates sophisticated live music with warmth, personality and just the right amount of energy.
Conway’s Cocktail Hour
Steve’s signature offering is Conway’s Cocktail Hour – a focused 60-minute live performance designed for drinks receptions, weddings, corporate events, private parties ... and special celebrations.
The idea is simple: one memorable hour of stylish live music at the heart of your event. The performance can begin with relaxed swing and easy listening before lifting the atmosphere with livelier swing, jump-jive and early rock ’n’ roll favourites.
It’s ideal for clients who want the atmosphere and personality of live entertainment without music overpowering conversation or dominating the entire event.
Steve has performed at prestigious venues and events including Althorp, Highclere Castle, Wembley VIP hospitality and a Premier League footballer’s wedding in Antwerp.
Performing with his own professional Bose sound system, Steve can be set up quickly and requires very little space, making Conway’s Cocktail Hour particularly well suited to drinks receptions and venues where simplicity and flexibility are important.
One hour. Timeless songs. A great atmosphere.

Steve Conway - Male Singer - Basingstoke, South East Event Location: Chilworth Manor Event Type: Wedding 19th August 2023

Steve performed at my sons wedding, after the ceremony, on the lawn and during the wedding breakfast. He has a fantastic voice and our guests all commented on what a superb singer he was. Such an outstanding artist. We left the compilation of songs down to him and we were not disappointed, he has a beautiful tone. We would throughly recommend Steve, you won’t be disappointed! Thank you Steve for a wonderful day!

What a great party it was and Steve Conway was one of the best things about it. I had heard Steve sing a number of times at other events so when it came time for me to organise my own party, I got in touch and was delighted he was available. 80 people of all ages were thoroughly entertained throughout the evening and I can honestly say Steve has a magical voice which filled the crowded room and enticed people to dance and sing along. I had a number of people so surprised to know it was live music and said they thought it was some of the best music they’ve heard in ages (and asked for details). I can’t thank Steve enough for helping to make it a successful and thoroughly enjoyable event and hope to hear him again somewhere soon.
