I am diverse vocalist with experience in many facets of musical styles and genres. I have been a singer for 39 years and a professional vocalist for 20. I am a songwriter, recording artist, a producer, a session singer and an actress. You can find me singing Gospel/Inspiration, Christian/CCM, Praise & Worship, R&B/Soul, Pop, Jazz, Country, EDM and Dance. I have minor experience in Classical/Choral music but I can do it! I can also sing in Spanish!

Experience

I started out singing in church (like most singers haha) in the children's choir. I realized I loved music and maybe had something I could contribute, so I kept at it! I got into choir in school and started singing in talent shows. I started writing songs as a pre-teen, learned how to produce my own music at 16 and won Kentuckiana Idol in 2003. From there, I opened up for recording artist Howard Hewitt and that opened the door for me to do professional regional theatre. I fell in love with being able to combine both of my passions, singing and acting! I've been Ursula, the Killer Queen, Trix t ... he Aviatrix, Motormouth Maybelle, Matron "Mama" Morton, Elphaba, Effie White, a Dynamite, an Urchin and countless other characters.
Aside from theatre, I've been asked to sing at weddings, funerals (I don't do these anymore), concerts, events, specials, church services, singing the National Anthem at several events, etc.
It's been a blessing to have so many theatrical opportunities without any formal training. The same applies to me as vocalist. I have not been classically trained. I don't take my gift from God for granted and I carry Him with me in everything I do!
