Trovatori combines the outstanding soprano and tenor voices of Caroline and Darren Clarke. From performing with full orchestra to providing their own accompaniment on guitars, Trovatori are at home in pretty much any venue and setting. They perform many of their own arrangements of classics from opera, musicals, film themes, classical cro ... ssover hits, Neapolitan songs, ballads and folk songs.
Husband and wife team Darren and Caroline met while performing at the renowned opera festival in Bregenz, Austria. Most recently they have performed as guest artists for Saga Cruises, Swan Hellenic Cruises and as a headlining act for Thomson Gold and Thomson Couples at their luxury resorts across Europe to great acclaim.
This year Trovatori are performing internationally at corporate events, concerts, music festivals and private functions as well as as headline artists for major cruise lines.

Biography

Darren studied at the Royal Northern College of Music. His singing career has taken him to opera houses and theatres in Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Canada, and Europe. He is also an accomplished lieder singer. Caroline studied composition at Durham University and reached the final stages of Channel 4’s Operatunity and ITV’s Search for a Soprano. She has performed numerous operatic roles and has appeared in many oratorios and concerts across the UK, Europe and the United States.

Thank you again for performing last night and for including an appropriate and lovely tribute to our late President. The evening was such a success and won you many admirers and friends. It was regarded as a highlight of our Festival, as I thought it would be, and thank you again for your professional, friendly and skilful performance. It reached out to the audience and involved them in the experience, including the clever and informative narrative arising from the songs.
