from RnB and Pop to Bossa, Ballad, Alternative, Reggae, Slow Rock, Rock, Motown, Blues,
Country, Retro, and New Wave. With musical influences such as ABBA, Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin, Amy Winehouse, Queen, Beegees, Beatles, and many more. From the iconic sounds of the 50's to the latest hits, this Filipino
band has consistently delivered electrifying performances.
Formed in 2014, Upperbox band has had the privilege of performing at prestigious venues such
as 5-star hotels, casinos, pubs, and b ... ars in countries like Solomon Islands, Singapore,
Myanmar, Malaysia, Japan, Cambodia, and the Philippines. The band consists of 5 talented members led
by Keyboardist Niño Jed Rea, with Lead Guitarist Mark Ruel Casiño, Bass Guitarist Dinno
Joseph Santos, Drummer Leo D. Marasigan Jr., and a Female Vocalist, Rhyzza Nicol Kafilas.
Each member has over 10 years of professional performing experience under their belt. The
band's rhythm section is particularly notable for its ability to bring out the energy and vibe of

The keyboardist and Band Leader, Niño Jed Rea, has 12 years of experience playing on stage and singing back-up vocals for various bands and solo artists. He joined a Battle of the bands and was twice held as Best Keyboardist. He is also the dedicated band leader of Upperbox band for 10 years now.
Female Vocalist of the band, Rhyzza Nicol Kafilas, started singing on stage at 10 years-old. She joined a band at 18 and is also a part-time model and actress, appearing in local Indiefilms and local TV series, she also joined a local TV Talent competition called “Talentadong Pinoy”.
Mark R ... uel Casiño, is an experienced lead Guitarist for 15 years. He has been on stage with different bands and played for some Filipino recording artists. He also appeared at a local TV network called, “My Myx” where his previous played their original songs on a roundtrip album “A Quick Stop To Reality”.
Dinno Joseph Santos, is a singing bassist who has performed in the Philippines and abroad. Performed alongside famous local artist, Sir Gino Padilla, also played with “Serenity”, a local Filipino band who composed the song “You are the one” in the movie “You are the one”.
Leo Marasigan Jr. is an experienced Drummer of 19 years. He started playing the drums at the early age of 11 years-old. Playing at Church, He sees drumming as a way of expressing his feelings.
