Jeremy Wegner this is music...
jwegsdrums@gmail.com is currently a working drummer in Detroit and recently joined Wag The Dawg! Jeremy’s musical trip started before he could walk, playing the old pots and pans on the kitchen floor in the Chicago. Jeremy spent his early life studying music and drums with Phil Stanger and was heavily influenced and schooled by jazz,classical,funk,R&B, blues, fusion,world music. Jeremy played for the Chicago Protégé Orchestra in High School and traveled to China to perform. Jeremy attended Adams state college and WSC in Gunnison, Co. a degree in music perfor ... mance. He played for Taos Orchrestra and taught multiple drum lines in Colorado during college. Since then Jeremy has recorded for many groups and shared stages with acts ranging from Kenny Chesney to The Wailers. Jeremy’s view towards playing the drums is a life long quest towards constant refining of one’s craft ! It’s also about the spirit of the music, who u play it with, and who you connect with. Jeremy is my house band drummer and has a residency. I own a bar in a ski town called Crested Butte, Co. I have options but choose him especially for the busy times cause he keeps everyone dancing! His warm feel while drumming and personality Is contagious. I’ve heard him play a lot of different styles , he plays with dynamics and you can hear the passion in his playing.
