Lady Rose - Function / Party Band - Nottinghamshire Event Type: Wedding 21st September 2024

Lady Rose were our wedding entertainment and they were absolutely phenomenal. Jo's voice is incredible and their repertoire is extensive. Our first dance song was beautiful and all of our guests had a great time. We added on the DJ package and suggested the type of songs we enjoyed. Every song was great and they even took guest requests (at one point everyone was doing the Conga). We would 100% recommend Lady Rose for any event as the quality of their performance is outstanding. Their communication was great, they provided lots of options for songs & sets and made everything easy.

I just want to extend my absolute thanks for playing at our wedding last Saturday. You guys were, without a doubt, the highlight of the day (besides the actual marriage part hehe). Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and you absolutely set the tone of the whole day. We’ve had compliments after compliments about you playing and Paul’s army friends have said how they’d love to hire you for future ‘mess-do’ events etc. I’m going to pass on your details to them (and others that have asked about you). I just want you to know how grateful Paul and I are for you coming all the way and setting such a wonderful tone to our wedding - we loved it!

The Groovy Cats - Blues Band - Nottinghamshire Event Type: Wedding 27th November 2021

These guys are INSANE! Honestly, they were the highlight of my wedding (don’t tell my husband). We were let down by a previous band 6 weeks before the big day, and I really do feel in this case, everything happens for a reason. If it wasn't for that cancellation, we would have never found the Groovy Cats! Our wedding evening flew by with this amazing band. The music they played was awesome and all our guests were up dancing; even my 87-year-old grandad who was waving his walking stick in the air! The band learnt our first dance song and made it their own, along with a very funky version of Cher’s “Believe”. We had so many compliments on the night (and for days following our wedding) about how incredible the band were. Communication with the band was so easy too, Isaac was so quick to respond to our questions and was so chilled! I will be recommending the Groovy Cats to everyone who needs a band going forward. Izzy and Dan - Duo - Nottinghamshire Event Type: Music venue entertainment 11th March 2020

'Constantly playing day in day out to improve an already professional standard of musicianship and vocal talent has certainly paid off. It’s hard to believe that this talented young duo are only 18 years of age as they perform like seasoned veterans, totally adept in their field. Separately, they each have a unique tone which compliment each other when they harmonise with such synchronicity. In addition to this, they are totally respected by their fellow peers and very respectful of them in return often partaking in impromptu jam sessions at the ‘working Cask Heroes’ open mic at the Cask Bah which they frequent most Wednesdays , gig schedule and rehearsals permitting. A total class act, well worth checking out at one of their many gigs if you get the chance.'
