Stuart started by mentioning wind whistling through ropes and high seas which provide the rhythm for sea shanties. A sea shanty is a work song for rowing or pulling ropes. He was amusing and entertaining and mixed in history of the tall ships as well. He had obviously done a lot of research into the singing of shanties and how they had come to being. Overall it was an enjoyable evening, members were encouraged to sing shanties with the rhyme of the pulling of ropes.

Dyscover 30th Anniversary Charity Ball. 8th May 2024 Liz Grace Magic Oz was the MC, magician, and Auctioneer at a charity ball that I organised. He was really helpful and knowledgeable in the build up, helping me to plan the timings of the evening and giving me good ideas and tips. On the night he worked extremely hard performing magic during the arrival drinks and then again whilst guests were waiting for their food. He was funny and attentive and the guests all seemed to be enjoying the magic. He hosted the event well, ensured it ran smoothly and on time, and was a great auctioneer too. I would highly recommend!
