Professional Face Painting – Central Scotland
Professional face painting from Scribli is available for children's parties, weddings, festivals, family fun days, corporate and commercial events, shopping centres, sporting events, schools, nurseries, community events and seasonal celebrations across Central Scotland.
Face Painting for Your Event
Every event is different, so the service can be tailored to suit you. I can create a 6–8 design menu specifically around your event or theme, or you can choose particular designs you'd like included.
Themes can include everything from animals ... , superheroes and princess-inspired designs to Halloween, Christmas, Easter, festivals and neon/UV-style face painting for evening events and parties.
For larger or particularly busy events, designs can be adapted to allow approximately 10–12 faces to be painted per hour, helping to keep queues moving while still giving each child a professional, finished design and a friendly experience. I don't believe children should feel rushed through the chair simply because an event is busy.
Parties & Events
Bookings can be arranged for a set number of hours or around the requirements of your event. One-off and regular bookings are welcome, and I'm happy to discuss longer days, recurring events and additional dates.
I'm reliable and flexible with working hours and understand how important it is for organisers to know that their suppliers will turn up, set up professionally and be ready when their event begins.
As an experienced educator, I can also deliver children's creative workshops and activity groups, which can be incorporated into suitable community, educational and family events.
Travel
I'm based in Central Scotland and cover Falkirk, Stirling, Clackmannanshire, West Lothian, North Lanarkshire, Glasgow, Edinburgh and surrounding areas.
Travel expenses may apply depending on the location and distance involved. Where a travel charge is required, this will always be included clearly within your quote before you book, so there are no unexpected additional costs.

My experience includes children's parties, sporting and family events, where I’m comfortable working in busy environments and adapting designs to suit different themes, ages and event sizes.
I offer colourful, high-quality face painting using professional face paints and equipment, with a clean, and organised set-up. I'm fully insured and PVG checked, with 14+ years' experience working with children in education and GTCS registration.
Through Scribli, I have experience supporting community and sporting events and understand the importance of being reliable, approachable and able to work co ... nfidently as part of a wider event team. I can also create themed menus for specific events and adapt designs for faster-paced environments where larger numbers of guests need to be accommodated.

A Little About Me
Hi, I'm Pauline! I'm the person behind Scribli and, alongside running the business, I've spent more than 14 years working with children as a primary teacher.
Face painting brings together quite a few of the things I genuinely love — being creative, working with children and being part of those slightly chaotic but brilliant days where everyone is there to have fun!
Having worked with children for so long, I'm very comfortable chatting to little ones while I paint, helping nervous children feel at ease and adapting to different personalities. I don't like rushing children ... through the chair — choosing their design and watching it appear is part of the experience.
I'm also a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my set-up! I like everything clean, organised and professional, and I'm a big believer in being reliable. If I've committed to being somewhere, I'll be there.
I love creating designs around a theme, particularly when an organiser gives me something unusual to work with. Halloween, festivals, sporting events and anything involving bright colours are always good fun.
Outside of face painting, Scribli is my growing stationery and lifestyle brand, built around creativity, positivity, participation and making people smile — so face painting has ended up feeling like a very natural extension of what I already do.
And after 14+ years in a primary classroom, there's not much a three-year-old covered in glitter can throw at me that I haven't encountered before! 🙂
