I'm a Drummer/percussionist from Haiti. I live in Boston Massachusetts, I'm doing a degree at the New England Conservatory of Music. I play Caribbean, Jazz/fusion, gospel music, Rock, Funk and Pop music. Had various experiences playing in multiple musical groups.
Biography
Born in Carrefour Port-au-Prince, Paul Drummer Music whose real name is Paul July JOSEPH is the youngest of his family.
With his cheerful and calm character, he began to learn percussion at the age of 7 on his own in a church. Then, to know his first teacher at 8 years old. With the support and encouragement of his family, Paul persevered in his dream of becoming a professional international drummer. He played his first concert at the age of 12 with the Eden Gospel Choir.
He has had various experiences in musical groups such as: CODA, the Holy Praise Choir, Eden GOSPEL, Bel Melody Haiti, H
... aitian Groove, Koze Mizik, Emmanuel Smith Quartet, Rony Pierre, Mackenson Brutus, Esli Honore, Safiya, Hankus Netsky, Anthony Coleman, Austin Marc, Marc Copeland, Akili Jamal Haynes.
He has participated in projects such as: Drumacces, RED (Revolution Drum) Feat Schnyder Rene and some drum clinics.
He has participated in drum competitions (Drumfest, Le Batteur, Drumoff global international, Bagshow international), And with his project "Haitian Groove" he gave performances at the Jazz festival of Port-au-Prince 15th edition, Panama Jazz Festival virtual Concert, and performances in international global jazzClub.
