Biography
Founded in 2008 by Alexx Brown — Animated Anointing Mime Ministry was birthed out of a calling, to go out into the world and proclaim God’s Word through the performing arts. Alexx uses a combination of the dramatic arts form of pantomime, theatre, dance and storytelling to convey messages of inspiration, hope, strength, deliverance, encouragement and peace.
Extending beyond only worship services; Alexx has been blessed with the opportunity to minister at national conferences, tours (Fisk University Gospel Choir), workshops, and in an award-winning stage play (“Take Me to the King: The
... Turnaround”)
In 2016, he also created a foundational Gospel Mime course entitled, “Arts in Worship through Mime.” — Course topics include; the Origins of Gospel Mime, Arguments Against Gospel Mime, Biblical References to Mime, Makeup Application/Removal, Ministry Attire and Successful Mime Techniques/Practices
Based in Chicago, IL — God has already blessed Alexx to minister across the country in Illinois, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Indiana, Missouri & Wisconsin — Animated Anointing Mime Ministry has been ministry for over a decade now, and will continue striving to introduce this POWERFUL, inspiration art form to communities around the world.
