NOTTINGHAM CASTLE TRUST Nottingham Castle Trust has worked successfully in partnership with Ian Pycroft & Black Knight Historical (BKH) reenactment company since 2019. Ian is very knowledgabke about his subject areas and was able to expertly guide Castle Staff as to the reenactment events that would work best for the reopening of the Castle in June 2021 onwards. Ian and the BKH members have delivered a range of reenactments from Vikings to WW1. Each event has proven very successful with the general public. BKHs attention to detail of each era and their living history experiences and performances have entranced both children and adults alike. Throughout the challenge of C19 BKH have worked collaboratively with Nottingham Castle to keep everyone safe and entertained. BKH are a very reliable and friendly company. They understand and respect historical sites and can be trusted to leave the site as they found it on arrival.

BIG BAKE WEEKEND, WEALD & DOWNLAND MUSEUM, SUSSEX Thank you so much for a fantastic weekend of Historical interpretation in our building from North Cray. At short notice, you delivered above and beyond to give our visitors, volunteers and staff a vivid glimpse of what life may have been like in this Medieval building around a specific baking/grain theme. Added to that you treated the Museum with respect and consideration and were a pleasure to have working alongside the Museum team.

This has included Scouts Jamborees, A Bar Mitzvah with a medieval twist, a Billionaires Birthday Party Medieval castle extravanganza, accompanied Tyson Fury in his Wemblet Stadium Ringwalk as St George, created and performed with a team of medieval Knights for Ant & Dec's Saturday 'K'night Takeaway, worked in hundreds of stateley homes and castles, created Historical Pageants, appeared on horseback in anniversary parades, worked ... at top museums, arranged themed entertainment for clients weddings and kids parties, taught in schools [over 25 different workshops] etc.
