Biography
Matt White is a Comedian/Actor/ Writer, currently living in Greenville, NC. He performs and produces Stand-up comedy, Improv comedy, and Sketch comedy shows. He is the Creator/Artistic Director of the Seriously Clowning Comedy Group. Which he founded in 2005 at East Carolina University.
Matt White won the Lazy Pirate's 2013 "Last Comic Standing Contest" (Carolina Beach, NC), DSI Comedy's 2013 "Carolina's Funniest Comic" (Carrboro, NC), 2012 “Port City’s Top Comic " (Wilmington, NC).He was also a semi-finalist in the 2013 American Black Film Festival's "Comedy Wings Competition" (Hollywo
... od CA). Matt White has performed in the Cape Fear Comedy Festival 2010-2013 (Wilmington, NC) The North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival 2011,2013 (Carrboro). The Boston Comedy Arts Festival 2013/2012 (Cambridge MA). The Laugh Your Asheville Off Comedy Festival 2013 (Asheville NC) and the Ventura Comedy Festival 2013 (Ventura CA). White has also opened for some well known comics in the business, Alonzo Bodden, Tig Notaro, Nephew Tommy, Tom Simmons, Joe Clair, Landry, Tony Woods and Eddie Brill.
