Parlor Tricks specializes in 1920s, Speakeasy and Steampunk-themed events. We are an industrial ragtime quartet led with sultry vocals, resonator guitar, upright bass and drums, playing vaudeville favorites and bluesy originals drenched in syncopation and stomp.

The Parlor Tricks book includes more than 200 songs drawn from the sheet music era of the 1890s-1910s, early pop and vaudeville, swing and blues... and originals drawing on the syncopation and stomp of those times.
Biography
Parlor Tricks has been performing around the Bay Area since 2009, after a move from New York. Since then the band has continued to build our exposure and hone our performance, specializing in speakeasy, steampunk, and late-Century themed events, weddings, parties, and barroom extravaganzas.

Hired Parlor Tricks for our brewery's moving party/fundraiser and they were absolutely wonderful! Great energy, great sound, they made the party a roaring success. We will definitely be hiring them to play when we open our new space!

Parlor Tricks went above and beyond my expectations for our wedding. They are each gifted musicians and together they make magic. They played romantic, dreamy, hip swaying tunes for cocktail hour and fun, jazzy, booty shaking music for our barn dance reception. They are the perfect music for a perfect wedding.
