Biography

Hi There, I'm a London/France based professional drummer. I was born in London but have residence both in the Provence and North London. I started playing drum at the age of 11 and had my first professional gig at the age of 18 with an originals band. Between 1994 and 2001 I was mainly playing with a variety of originals bands and artists. In 2001 I was offered a UK tour with an INXS tribute band and this was my first covers gig and my initial transition from originals to Tributes, Party and Events bands.

“I booked this band for my wedding around a year before based on their online demo videos only, They had a sound that I liked and played music and songs that I related to in my younger days. I dealt with band leader Andy around a month or so before the event, he came across really friendly, helpful and thorough ensuring that the band played my choice of songs. The evening was really outstanding, a complete success with lots of people dancing and enjoying the sounds. So many people commented on how good the band were, I am so pleased, and certainly would not hesitate to use these guys again. Experience

I have 30 years experience playing in a variety of different musical situations. Touring bands, events bands, bars clubs, festivals and large live music venues. I have also played piano bars (Piano Works) where the customer do on the spot requests. On many occasions, I would have to learn the song on the spot.
My main style is funk groove based but have ventured into many other styles over the years. I really have a strong passion for music and understand the importance of being both good at what I do and being good and easy to work with. It's important t create a nice atmosphere with you ... fellow musicians it can be quite pressured at times and having the right attitude is something you can only cultivate through experience.
