Biography

Our team of singer-dancer-musician-improvisor-stage combatants premiered this production in 2012 at Historic Hudson Valley's 'Pirates of the Hudson' festival. It was then accepted the following summer for productions at the Planet Connections Theater Festival in New York City as well as an outdoor production of the 2013 New York Renaissance Festival. After these productions, it was curated for an Off Broadway production at the Jerry Orbach Theater (part of the Theater Center at 50th and Broadway). After running for 8 months in New York City, the show began touring in the summer of 2014 at the ... Tarrytown Music Hall (again in cooperation with Historic Hudson Valley). Since then, we have gone on to perform at over 75 theaters and performing arts centers across the country, as well as long-standing runs at the Colorado and Pittsburgh Renaissance Festivals. We continue to push boundaries in blending improvisation into a fully-staged musical theater show, delighting audiences of all ages. Because of the unique format of this show, we have 45, 60 and 90 minute stagings, including a Holiday Spinoff "The Greatest Pirate Holiday Spectacularrr!" which premiered Off Broadway at the Jerry Orbach theater in 2014.
