Biography

living in hawaii i was raised around music everyone played and sung music with a instrument or just karaoke. Music was a culture thing in my family all my family played and sing. it was back in may 2010 when a small time boy from the north shore who only knew how to play the ukulele got a opportunity from are kumu hula cliff “pali” Ahue from tihati production at the hyatt luau. i only knew very little hawaiian music but he seen something in me and i became the last person he ever hired may he rest in peace. The luau is were i got motivated and riven to push my own music by linking up w ... ith my good friend josh tatofi a great solo artist who brought me into the music industry and helped me learn my craft he was one of my many influences. which lead me into the group Maoli a reggae group from maui that allowed me to learn and live my dream while they were on the road his name was glenn awong the leader of the group who took me under his wing and showed me the way and continue to teach and ill continue to learn. My name tflats was given to me on November 10 2011 in lahaina performing with our group called Paa Mana which means to stand strong. We decided to change the band name because people had hard time pronouncing the name so we kept para mana as our company name. yes jam aware of no boundaries being glens old band name thats were i got the idea from glenn is one of my main mentors he’s a legend and still grinding. thinking of either making the album called sky the limit or just might keep it at no boundaries. its hard to name the set players because i use a lot of talented musicians that played for many great groups. the main musicians that do play with me is leroy amano who played guitar then theres kana corpuz bass player for maoli , forest gump plays drums he is from the group lakeside , thomas celep keys also from the band maoli. there are a few more talented musicians that make up the highlights which is all top players for big groups that back me up we join them together to create our own unique sound.
