Biography

Amelia Henderson is a trained triple threat and silk and hoop aerialist
from the UK. Over the last 19 years she has studied a variety of technical
dance styles as well as voice and acting. As a young performer, Amelia
worked with the Huddersfield Light Opera Company from the age of 12, where
she appeared in their annual pantomime. She then received her debut leading
role as Rumpleteaser in their production of ‘Cats the Musical.’
She worked as an Extra in Forge Entertainment’s Ackley Bridge on Channel 4.
She has also worked with Dr Ross McKimm, modelling for the new ISTD
Contempor ... ary syllabus video.
Amelia spent summers at intensives including the Louise Browne Ballet
Centre, Laine Theatre Arts and the Institute of the Arts Barcelona, where she
then attended for three years to pursue a Bachelor Honours degree in
Commercial Dance, due to graduate in June 2023. As part of her training, she
has performed at the Sitges Film Festival ‘Zombie Walk’.
Amelia made her professional screen debut in Bat Bridge Entertainment’s
documentary, ‘Catching Lightning’ where she appeared as the role of Stacey
Dudley. Amelia continues to strive working internationally, broadening her
horizons, and sharing her love for performing around the world. Read More
