My name is Beth Parkinson, I am 20 years old, and I am based in the North-West region in the UK.
I am a professional dancer trained in a variety of styles, including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Commercial, Commercial heels, Contemporary, Lyrical and Musical Theatre. I grew up adoring dance, and I am now aspiring to turn my love into a career! I am aspiring to be a performer who travels the world on cruises or working as part of the entertainment for hotels abroad. However, I would love the opportunity to try all kinds of jobs that include dancing to gain new experiences and a broader view of the in ... dustry.
With a foundation in dance established at the age of four, my technical journey has been defined by a lifelong commitment to movement and performance. Across my years of training, I have navigated diverse training environments attending multiple dance schools and completing my BTEC dance qualification too which allowed me to develop a versatile stylistic vocabulary. This also directed me towards a professional University dance course, where I transitioned from a dedicated student to a pre-professional practitioner, refining my artistry through high-level choreography, theory, and performance.
My dream as a performer is to be an inspiration to others and to entertain everyone around me, as I see this as the most rewarding part of the job. I believe that the true reward of performance lies in the silent connection between the performer and the audience. My goal is to use movement as a personal language to spark emotion, offer an escape, and leave a lasting impression that lingers long after the final curtain. To inspire someone to feel, to dream, or to move is the highest achievement I can strive for as a professional.
