R-Jay Jean, better known as R-Jay the Haitian Comedian, is a Haitian-American stand-up comic whose comedy fuses raw honesty, cultural nuance, and island-style storytelling. Born of Haitian roots and shaped by Bahamian and Jamaican influences, R-Jay brings an authentic Caribbean-American voice to stages across the U.S. and the islands.

R-Jay has lit up renowned stages including The Improv (Orlando, Miami, Hollywood, West Palm, Dania Beach, Louisville, Tampa), New York Comedy Club, Carnival Cruise Lines, and major festivals like the Haitian Compas Festival, Best of the Best, and Miami Takeover, as well as venues throughout the Bahamas, Jamaica, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
As a proud ambassador of Haitian culture in comedy, R-Jay founded and hosted The Comedy Room, one of Broward County’s longest-running independent comedy nights, at Top Chefs Restaurant & Lounge. Over the years, he has shared the stage with comedy legends including Tommy Davidson, Mike Epps, Cedric the Entertainer, Lavell Crawford, Eddie Griffin, Michael Blackson, Malik Sanon, Marvin Dixon, Majah Hype, and the late Papa Pye — Haiti’s beloved King of Comedy.
