Experience
MUSIC:
I gained performance experience in high school through music and music extension classes, for both of which I received academic excellence awards. Immediately after high school I pursued my dream of becoming a musician through a Bachelor of Popular Music at Griffith University, which I completed in 2020. During this degree I was awarded many opportunities for regular performances, performance workshops, and to write and record my original music. I also trained vocally with Dr Marisa Naismith during this time. In 2019 I was a featured ensemble member in Beenleigh Theatre Group's product
... ion of "Victor Victoria," and in 2021 I returned to musical theatre in Gold Coast Little Theatre's production of "American Idiot." Since moving to the Gold Coast in 2019, I have also played pub gigs and been a regular busker on Cavill Avenue in Surfers Paradise, as well as attending local open mic nights.
DANCE:
I began my dance career at the age of 10, competed at regional, state and national levels from 11 to 18 years old, and coached both dance and cheerleading from the age of 15 to 19. I was also a featured dancer in both Beenleigh Theatre Group's "Victor Victoria," and Gold Coast Little Theatre's "American Idiot." I perform predominantly in the styles of jazz, contemporary and burlesque, however I am also trained in hip hop and ballet. I currently train at Dance Headquarters in Molendinar, Gold Coast, in all of the aforementioned styles.

MUSIC:
I have been singing ever since I could talk. My mother oftens jokes that from the moment I woke up in the morning until I went to bed at night, she couldn't get me to shut up. My father fostered in me an early love for music and performing, as he too has always worked in the entertainment industry. Whether it was exposing me to a plethora of musical styles and genres, or teaching me to play melodies from our favourite songs on various instruments, music remains the most common ground between my father and me. As soon as I began dance classes in 2011, I realised that this too was a majo
... r passion of mine.
I took a break from dance while I completed my studies in 2019-2021, and after completing my degree, I also took a backseat approach in the progression of my music career. In both of these cases, I had a serious case of burnout, and didn't believe I wanted to be a performer anymore. However, I truly believe that the universe brought both of these loves back into my life. Whether it's performing for a paying crowd, on the streets of Surfers Paradise, or even just for a few friends and family, I have always loved being in the spotlight. I am a natural performer, it is what I'm best at, and despite needing time away from it, I genuinely couldn't imagine my life without performing.
