Biography

Joe Abousakher is an Arab-American who grew up in the sticks of Tennessee (on a sheep farm) — his comedy style will have you on the edge of your seat and hearing a new perspective on this American life! No topic is safe from discussion, whether it be life as a young dad of a teenager, or an honest look at growing up as an Arab southerner in a post 9/11 world.
Joe was just a finalist in the 2022 San Francisco Comedy Competition (joining the likes of Patton Oswalt, Sarah Silverman, and Dana Gould as famous 5th place finishers). He is a regular at the Westside Comedy Theater in Los Angeles ... and in development at the Hollywood Improv and The Comedy Store. He was a semi-finalist on Stand Up NBC, has been seen on MTV and Esquire Network, and will hopefully be making his Late Night debut early next year (currently working with the bookers). You can currently catch him touring clubs and colleges across the country.
