Biography

I am an exceedingly receptive dancer, that thrives in a physically demanding and fast paced environment. I bring an engaging vitality to my performance and have a distinctive creative outlook to my art. I have valuable professional experience as both performer and dance teacher, including choreography, over a number of years. In addition to vast experience in classical ballet, i excel in many genres of contemporary dance, as well as jazz and commercial styles. Versatility is a strength of mine as I'm enthusiastic about pushing the boundaries of my own body as well as the artistic perception of ... dance. Highly driven towards excellence and risk taking, i am a reassuringly determined team member and individual.

Madeline has performed in numerous dance pieces that i have created for stage and film. Her most recent work as a dancer was for the dance film 'The Golden Feather' set to Vivaldi's 'The Four Seasons'. Her performance of the challenging piece of choreography was mesmerising, and intense with a sensitive musicality that drove the piece to a beautiful climatic ending. Madeline has an outstanding quality of movement who takes direction well and is willing to adapt or modify the choreography if needed at a moment's notice without complaint and works delightfully with her collaborators. Madeline is one of the most talented female dancers I have worked with in my 20 years of being within the dance industry. I am convinced from my collaborations with her that she would be an asset to any orginisation or company that accepts nothing but the most gifted.

Meet the Act

I originally began dancing at a performing arts evening club, where I was introduced to the world of contemporary dance. These classes really clicked with me from a young age.
I was encouraged to join ballet classes to aid my progression as a dancer, which i fell in love with instantly. Studying rigorously with classical dance, i took up opportunities to learn internationally as well as all around my home country.
This was when i also gained more experience with a range of different styles such as Jazz, Commercial and HipHop to name a few, and realised the value of having many styles un ... der my belt.
