Siobhan Houston
Siobhan is a former competitive figure skater with Maripossa School of Skating, Barrie ON. Training with Doug Leigh, Mitch Islam and Michael Hopfes. She has focused on dance since age 12. Studying in ballet, tap, contemporary, hip hop, jazz, commercial and lyrical styles of dance. With interest in acro. Siobhan has trained under local studios and with Dark Dance, Prompt, The Underground and Studio North in Toronto, ON. Siobhan has trained under industry professionals such as Bengt Jörgen, Stephane Rae Williams, Anastasia Loskutov, Marjorie Malcolm, Lineen Doung,
... Larinee Movsessian, Shawn Bracke and Alison Bradbury. Siobhan has auditioned for and participated in summer intensives with the National Ballet, Qunite Ballet and Ballet Jörgen. Siobhan was selected to perform in “Inhale” with NLC Dance Company and tour with Ballet Jörgen in the Nutcracker. Siobhan has attended many dance conventions and competitions winning highest score, overalls, special wards and scholarship. She was invited to train with Intrepid Dance Company under Mitchel Jackson and completed two years in this program. Siobhan has entered into teaching dance and has been teaching at local studios for a number of years, for both adults and children. Siobhan has choreographed and performed many solo and group dances. Siobhan has a strong passion for dance and is excited to share this.
