Experience

I have a strong ballet background as I started dancing as a classical ballet dancer. In high school, I trained in all styles of dance and received 3 national titles in hip-hop before being recruited to the University of Mississippi. Aside from performing at football and basketball games, we competed nationally in jazz and gameday, placing in the top 10 for jazz and receiving 1 national title in gameday. At UMass - Amherst, I worked with award-winning choreographers in multiple student thesis and faculty shows, and most notably the AWOOGA! Drag Performance Show choreographed by Ramon Baynes. He ... re, I gained many opportunities to study dance from incredible choreographers around the world, such as WADE Dance Company in Italy and Dante Puleio from Limon Dance Company. Most recently, I trained with Complexions Contemporary Ballet at their Los Angeles summer intensive for 2 weeks this summer while continuing my training.

I have been so grateful to have had the opportunity to teach privates to younger students over zoom to help further advance their training. I am also available for online dance courses, but I feel zoom privates give me a great opportunity to really connect with the student and hone in on places we can improve. I am available to teach jazz, ballet, contemporary, or choreography.
