As a female dance performer, I am passionate about stimulating an emotional connection with an audience. Having trained professionally in diverse dance genres such as ballet, contemporary, Irish dancing, jazz, hip-hop and Latin American, I am able to provide an entertaining perfomance that can vary from slow to more upbeat routines. I have danced as a solo performer, with a team and have experience in partner work doing lifts and tricks. I have experience dancing internationally for ballet and contemporary competitions including Youth American Grand Prix and Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition in New York, Varna International Ballet Competition in Bulgaria, Cape Town International Ballet Competition in South Africa and South African Irish Dancing Championships - holding the title for SA Champion 5 years running. My passion and dedication excelled when I joined a high-performance dance school where I trained and competed professionally in diverse dance genres which has allowed me to harness classical and freestyle techniques with strength training and body conditioning setting the foundation of practice. Having performed on stage many times for events and dance productions, I am seeking the opportunity to perform again as a contemporary/ jazz dancer and ultimately connect with an audience.
