Maggie Sottero offers Embellishments at a Reasonable Price!
American designer, Maggie Sottero offers an outstanding collection of dresses for each season and they look a lot more expensive than they actually are! Maggie Sottero were formed in 1997 and are the most amazing corsetieres with many of their designs featuring the option to have a corset back, or a zip back. If you don’t like embellishments and sparkle, don’t panic – Maggic Sottero also offers affordable gowns which are plainer and feature lace, tulle and other beautiful fabrics. They also have a sister company, Sottero and Midgley for those wanting a more couture look!
Affordability is the key with a Mori Lee!
Mori Lee is another American designer, and the creation of the fabulous Madeline Gardner. With over 17 years of experience, Mori Lee is a brand that is not only affordable but keeps up with many of the bridal trends each season. Specially designed and crafted, the Mori Lee collection is simply beautiful with plenty of options when it comes to shapes and styles of dresses. Madeline Gardner also runs a number of other bridal wear companies, including bridesmaids and other ranges of wedding gowns.

Ronald Joyce is an award winning bridal designer that was formed in the 1950’s in London by Ronald and Joyce Phillips. Taking on board Italian designer Veni Infantino has added a real dramatic element to their dresses and includes fantastic structure and exquisite embellishments. Ronald Joyce offer some stunning dresses, and we feel they are some of the most unique designs available in the world of bridal wear.

If you are looking for a beautiful and elegant gown with outstanding attention to detail, look no further than Essense of Australia! This Australian design team takes their inspiration from Europe and New York to create fabulous gowns with luxurious fabrics and beading. From stunning lace to satin and chiffon, the Essense of Australia collection always features plenty of different shaped dresses, from A-line to fishtail! Many of these can be customized slightly, with the option of a corset or zip-up back (excluding illusion back dresses of course).

If you’ve never been wedding dress shopping before, it can be quite hard to know who to trust and which bridal shops are legitimate. We always recommend that you find a bridal boutique that is a member of the RBA (Retail Bridalwear Association). This is a service similar to the ATOL travel association and offers brides a type of reassurance that if the company she buys her dress from goes bust, she will still get her gown. It’s well worth travelling to a store that has this to their name!
