Safety On Site Mean Parents Can Relax
Diggerland has devised a range of games, activities and rides, designed to suit children of different ages and heights. Whether you have under 5’s or 6ft teenagers – you’ll enjoy a worry free day, secure in the knowledge that all the rides are designed with safety in mind. Some of the rides are suitable for children accompanied by a responsible adult, but once you get into the 10+ age range, there are lots of rides that the children can operate by themselves.
Digging for treasures or playing skittles with the scoop on a tractor will give your children a real feeling of “I can do it!”. There are safety belts for the majority of rides and extenders can be made available to accommodate little children sitting on the lap of their favourite adult.
Small children can get involved too with their own mini range of games, slides and Tonka Toys – they’ll love driving a push-pedal digger and a trip on the Parks mini train – perfect for seeing all the sights without wearing out little legs!
Fun For The Big Kids in Your Family
Children love it when their older relatives join in the fun – and Diggerland UK has two rides that are sure to get everyone screaming with excitement – namely Skyshuttle and Spindizzy. If you’ve had a big breakfast, beware – Skyshuttle takes you soaring up above the countryside – perfect for those with a head for heights.
Spindizzy is like a funfair ride – fast, action packed, swooping and twisting – with you inside the giant scoop of a huge Dumper Truck.
Free Your Inner Builder
Most young people would love to try their hand at driving a dumper truck, a Range Rover Joyrider or digger. You can try out all three and more at Diggerland. Check the height and age guide and pick one or all of them for a rip roaring ride around the specially designed tracks. Put a 12 year-old behind a wheel and they’re in heaven! It gives them a sense of responsibility and speed – something that might come in handy when they get behind the wheel of a real car…
Find a Diggerland Site Near You
Diggerland has sites in a variety of places – which means there’s a good chance there’s a Diggerland near to you. All four points of the compass are covered, with sites in Devon, Kent, Durham and Yorkshire. All have available parking and are easy to get to – which is very appealing when the driver has a car full of enthusiastic youngsters.
Treats Along the Way
Diggerland has plenty to fuel hungry tums – with a quality cafeteria and refreshment opportunities on-site. There are picnic areas available too, if you prefer to bring your own goodie bags. There’s a shop to visit, where they sell a range of souvenirs and Diggerland clothing – ideal if you would like a memento of the day – everyone could drive home in a bright yellow Hard Hat!
Diggerland is open everyday throughout July and August from 10.00am – 5.00pm so before school opens up again, make sure you put Diggerland UK on your hit list of must-visit places for the summer break. Children love it!
