1. Winter Wonderland Theme Ideas
Dreaming of a White Christmas? Then this is the perfect theme for you. It’s an easy one to plan, with everything being white, or silver and you can go as minimal, or as all-out as you want with this one. Keep it simple by just using the colour theme, snowflake decorations & twinkly lights or go all out with a model sleigh, reindeer and fake furs for everyone.
And you could make it a bit different by hiring an Elvis Tribute artist to sing all of the King’s Christmas songs (he had a whole album!) or a dance act to create a special winter wonderland show.
2. Classic Christmas Theme Ideas
Think of all the classic elements that make Christmas special and that’s what this theme is all about. Cosy log-fires and Christmas stockings, mince-pies and holly, twinkling lights and Christmas trees and of course Christmas carols. You could hire an acoustic band or opera singer to sing the very best Christmas songs or book a harpist or hire a string quartet to play classic carols and Christmas music to create the perfect Yuletide atmosphere.
3. Christmas Carnival Theme Ideas
This one is so much fun – it’s all about bright colours and high energy. Invite your guests to come in full masquerade ball costume and fill the room with colourful ribbons, golden goblets and table settings, sprigs of holly and pine. And to really bring it to life take a look at our many speciality and circus acts – you could hire an aerialist or book a juggler of fire breather, a stilt walker or even hire a contortionist.
4. Santa’s Workshop Theme Ideas
This is obviously the very best Christmas Party theme for anyone under the age of 10. What could be more exciting than finding yourself in the heart of Santa’s workshop, surrounded by candy canes and wooden toys, elves and wrapping paper. A good printed backdrop is a great way to get started, and then wooden tables with colourful beads in boxes, ribbon and of course elf signs showing the ‘wrapping area’ and ‘sweet shop’.
Most important of all, you’ll need to hire a Santa to sit at the heart of your party, so that everyone can come and ask for their Christmas gifts.
Kids entertainers are always popular at Christmas so you could hire a face-painter to give each child an elf, snowman or reindeer face, or perhaps book a bubble performer or balloon modeller, to wander around the party and get all the children involved and having festive fun.
5. Cluedo Christmas Theme Ideas
This is a great theme for more grown-up fun. You can set up your Cluedo party yourself, leaving clues for your guests to find, or hire a murder mystery event supplier to made it go off without a hitch. Think Agatha Christie for style, mysterious, glamorous ladies with secret histories, Majors with stiff upper lips, suspicious servants…and don’t forget the 1920s-30s costumes! And why not hire a magician, mentalist, mind reader or hypnotist to give your evening that bit of extra mystery?
